Chapter 21 - She Doesn’t Want Him Anymore (1)
Huo YanXiao needed to travel for work today. He got up quickly and rubbed between his brows reflexively only to notice that he didn’t have the normal headache after a night of drinking.
He got up and walked into the kitchen and saw the congee inside the pot.
He lifted the cover of the pot and could immediately smell the aroma. Milky white congee with minced meat and green vegetables mixed in and some bright green green onion sprinkled on top.
Huo YanXiao, instead of scooping out the congee right away, took a look upstairs.
That’s when he noticed that Nie AnAn’s room door was ajar. She was obviously not home.
When Huo YanXiao went back inside the kitchen, he looked at the time: it was 6:50 AM.
He scooped himself out a bowl of congee. The aroma filled his mouth after he had finished.
Quickly, he cleaned up the kitchen and went back upstairs. Changing into his suit, he left with his suitcase.
Outside, Nie AnAn was jogging around the mansion district. She had been working out lately and finally felt that she had returned to her old routine that she kept in her previous life.
Her parents had died in an accident when she was a child, and she was raised by her grandfather.
Her grandfather doted on her but was very strict when it came to two issues.
One was professionally-related. For as far back as her memories go, her grandfather has been teaching her the most important principles of being a nutritionist.
Second one was health-related. Her grandfather had always said that one’s health was one’s biggest asset. So she started jogging since she was a child and had never stopped.
She must say though, that the original owner’s body really wasn’t all that healthy. As much as she has great strength and explosiveness, but possibly because of her irregular lifestyle and eating junk food long term, when Nie AnAn first started jogging, she’d already be out of breath after 20 minutes.
But after the last 10 or so days, she has been getting much better and slowly getting close to where she used to be.
Today, after Nie AnAn returned to the mansion after her job, she noticed that Huo YanXiao was already gone.
She walked into the kitchen and noticed that he had already finished the congee. He even did the dishes and cleaned the pot.
Nie AnAn’s lips curved upward. Oh? Wasn’t he ignoring her? Now he had the congee that she made?
She went back upstairs, showered, before coming back down to prepare her own breakfast.

For the nutritionist certification examination, the first round was the online examination, second round was an in-person written examination and a practical demonstration, and the third round was an interview.
When Nie AnAn arrived at the testing location and scanned over the test, she realized those were all questions that she could answer with her eyes closed.
After she had successfully passed the written examination and the practical demonstration, her speed and skillfulness even surprised the examiner.
Which was why the examiner scooped a spoonful of her nourishing soup and tried it out after she had left the work station.
And he had experienced a taste of that, he would never forget it for the rest of his life.
He put down the spoon and ran out behind Nie AnAn, but by then she was already long gone.
Luckily, he did still have her contact information, so he gave her a call.
On the other hand, Nie AnAn had just arrived at the parking garage when she received a call from a number that she wasn’t familiar with. After a little bit of hesitation, she answered the call, “Hello?”
“Is this Miss Nie AnAn?” The examiner’s voice sounded a bit anxious, “I am the examiner during today’s nutritionist certification examination and I want to discuss something with you. Can you swing by my office in a little bit?”
Nie AnAn was a little stunned, but she replied quickly, “Sure, Instructor.”
