Chapter 41 - The Great Devil (2)
[The Handsomest of the Lu’s]: Yeah, I heard there’s a few of the contracts on our assets are expiring and he needed to go back to take care of them. Third Uncle left for City B a few days ago. You didn’t know? OMG.jpg
[Foolish Son of the Lu's]: You haven’t seen Third Uncle yet?
[Foolish Son of the Lu's]: No, wait. I heard that Third Uncle went straight back to our old house right after he got off the plane.
[Lu XiaoYang]: Dang! I was dragged to some stupid events the last few days and hadn’t been back to DongShan Mansion for a little while.
[Foolish Son of the Lu's]: You are so dead.
[The Handsomest of the Lu's]: Dead man walking.
[Xiao Liu of the Lu’s]: +1

“Boss Lu, Boss Lu?”
“Speak”
“Um, I am done already.”
“Right. Have the tech department go and track down the person who sent the email. See to it that the rest are taken care of.” Having said that, Lu Boyang had already gotten up and grabbed his jacket.
“Boss Lu, you…”
“I need to go take care of something urgent. Let’s talk tomorrow.”
That was, providing that he would walk into the office in one piece tomorrow. He didn’t even know that Third Uncle had already been over at DongShan Mansion for a few days. Even Lu Boyang thought that he was as good as dead.
After Lu Boyang had left, Chen Ang and Director Zhou were still standing there looking dumbfounded.
“Manager Chen, about this incident…”
“Let’s just do what the President said. We will figure out what to do with Lin XiaoXiao later. I will go and have the tech department start tracking down the sender. Your department can take over the follow up from that point forward.”

Su Ran had no idea what happened at Shengding Entertainment.
At this very moment, she was on a shopping spree at a market with the 1,000 yuan that she had received from the Song’s.
Su Han had lived a poor life when he was with the original owner and since he had been home with her, they had been having takeout and never had anything good either. Now that she has some money on her, Su Ran wanted to prepare something more nutritious for her son.
However, Su Ran seemed to have forgotten one small detail – she didn’t know how to cook.

Su Han came home at 7:00 PM. As soon as he walked inside the door, he saw Su Ran looking very distressed at the cellphone.
Su Han opened his mouth a bit and quickly closed it again.
“Eh, you are back? Where did you go?” Su Ran looked up at Su Han. Wasn’t today a weekend?
“I… I don’t need to tell you,” said Su Han as he turned his head and avoided Su Ran’s look before he walked past her into the house.
Ugh… alright.
Su Ran had already gotten used to her villain son’s awkwardness.
“You haven’t had dinner yet, right? Come over for dinner.”
“Oh?”
Hearing Su Ran’s voice, Su Han acknowledged her. After tightening his grip on the item in his hand, he shoved it into his pocket and threw his slightly dirty jacket inside of his room. He then washed his hands and walked over to the dinner table.
“What… what’s with all the takeout?” asked Su Han as he curiously looked from all the variety of take outs that were enough for 7 or 8 people to Su Ran.
Plus, they were so short of money just yesterday that they had only ordered two skewers of quail eggs with three bowls of rice. Where did all the money come from today that allowed this woman to splurge like that?
“Oh, nothing much. Didn’t I tell you that I found a part-time job? They pay after each lesson, so I got paid today. I know things haven’t been going well lately but we can at least have a good meal tonight!”
“These?” said Su Han as he pointed at all the items on the table.
Malatang (spicy hot pot), chicken cutlets, rou jia mo (aka “meat burger” or “meat sandwich”), fun (wide noodles) from the place downstairs, and an order of spicy crayfish.
“Ahem. Actually, I also bought a fish, a chicken, and two pounds of shrimp. They’re all in the kitchen, but it was getting late and I ran out of time to make them.”

Fringe Manatee (Translator)’s Notes: From what I’ve read on webnovels, spicy crayfish seems like a very popular dish. Personally I find it difficult to justify the time one has to spend (peeling them) for what you get in return (very little meat). >.<
