Title: The Villainess Female Supporting Character Raising Her Bun
Translator: Fringe Capybara
Chapter 31 - First Day (3)
It was 6 o’clock at night, and Cheng Huan had packed up everything. She brought along her son and prepared food, tables and chairs on an electric rickshaw.
She had bought this rickshaw a couple of days ago. The rickshaw wasn’t small, but she had a lot to carry with her. She had tied the tables and chairs on the ceiling of the car, looking very hazardous.
Luckily, the location that Cheng Huan had found wasn’t too far away from where they lived, just about 5 minutes or so away.
It was at a plaza. Originally, it was the sales center for the plaza. Then, after all the shops were sold, the sales center was taken down, and the area was emptied out. Half of it was converted to a resting area and the other half a night market.
Cheng Huan didn’t arrive too early, and most of the other stalls were already set up. There were only two corner spots left.
She didn’t mind that. She had XingXing stay at one side and went to unload the rickshaw herself.
The items on the rickshaw were unloaded one by one and the shack was being set up.
It was still early, and the clienteles of the night market were not off work yet. Many of the other stall owners came over to help her when they saw her doing it all by herself.
Under their help, Cheng Huan was finally able to have her booth set up. She let out a sigh of relief and went over to a shop nearby and bought a few bottles of water to thank them for their help and also bought a few cases of beer.
It was starting to get dark, and more and more people showed up at the night market. The stalls also started getting busy. All but Cheng Huan’s stall. It wasn’t a great location, plus she was new. Her place seemed somewhat deserted relatively speaking.
Cheng Huan wasn’t worried. She had everything set up and took the free time to teach XingXing some mathematics.
The little kiddo was very interested in that. He used his two chubby little hands to do the calculations and got better and better at it.
The mother and son’s mathematics time didn’t last very long. After about an hour or so, Cheng Huan finally got her first wave of customers.
It was 8 o’clock at night, and traffic was the highest. These few probably couldn’t find a spot elsewhere and finally wandered over her way.
As this was her first day, Cheng Huan didn’t bring too much with her. The customers were vocal and complained that there wasn’t enough selection and looked displeased.
A new stall and limited selection, the few who sat down didn’t have high hopes on the quality of the food. But they were already seated and felt awkward to just get up and leave, so they just ordered a few items and figured they wouldn’t lose too much money even if the food wasn’t good
But their concerns were completely gone after their first bite of the barbecued meat.
Barbeque might seem simple. But most of them were piled with way too much spices and that was all there was to it. The meat was usually dry and tasteless.
But that wasn’t the case here!
The aroma was thick and it tasted savory. And the meat was tender!
The slightly hot barbecued meat in their mouth and its deliciousness exploded on their tongues. One bite and the meat split into two pieces with ease and even some juice came out of the middle.
It was so good that her patrons almost bit off their own tongues!
After just one bite, one of the men who was topless with a gold chain shouted out, “Boss, give me 10 more lamb and 10 more beef… Oh, screw it, 20 each!”

Translator’s Rambling: This translator likes night markets. ^__^ Yum.
Night markets operate in the evening and are usually dedicated to leisurely strolling, shopping, and eating. They are typically open-air markets. Below is a picture.
